Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about operator accounts, SCADA certification, OPU contracts, operational tasks, wallets, and platform access.
What is Voltalix?
Voltalix is a digital platform that provides structured access to renewable infrastructure through OPU contracts, SCADA training, and operational participation. The platform brings contract management, operator education, portfolio monitoring, and rewards into one secure environment.
How do I get started?
Create an account, complete identity verification, enable two-factor authentication, and configure
a withdrawal method. You can then complete SCADA training, fund your wallet, and review available OPU contracts.
What is an OPU contract?
An OPU is a time-limited contract associated with a renewable-infrastructure unit or project. Each listing clearly shows the activation value, duration, distribution structure, project details, and SCADA eligibility.
What is the difference between VX OPU and Public OPU?
VX OPU contracts are standardized operational opportunities offered directly by Voltalix and linked to turbine interests or operational capacity held or managed by Voltalix. Public OPU listings are live, project-specific opportunities sourced from wind farms and turbine owners and made available to certified Voltalix operators through the marketplace.
How many active OPU contracts can I hold?
A Voltalix account can hold up to three active OPU contracts at the same time. A new contract can be activated when one of the existing contracts is completed or becomes inactive.
What happens when an OPU contract ends?
When the contract reaches its completion date, it moves from Active Portfolio to Contract History. Any final eligible distribution is processed according to the contract terms.
What is SCADA?
SCADA stands for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition. It is the technology used to monitor and evaluate operational data from renewable infrastructure, including wind speed, blade
position, temperature, vibration, and power output.
What is SCADA Operator Certification?
SCADA Operator Certification confirms that you have completed the required Voltalix training and assessment. Certification is required before accessing eligible operational tasks.
Which contracts include SCADA tasks?
Only contracts marked SCADA Eligible include operational tasks. Eligibility is displayed clearly on every OPU listing before activation.
When are SCADA tasks available?
Operational tasks follow scheduled task windows. Your SCADA Center shows the next available task, its deadline, and the contract connected to it.
How are SCADA tasks validated?
Each task is checked against the operational rules shown in the task interface, including the selected component, correction direction, submitted value, and accepted tolerance. The result is displayed after validation together with a clear explanation.
What is the difference between a Usufruct Distribution and an Operational Distribution??
Usufruct Distribution
A contractual distribution linked to the active OPU contract itself. It is calculated according to the rate, duration, and conditions assigned to that contract and is recorded independently from task activity.
Operational Distribution
A distribution linked to operational participation, such as eligible SCADA activity, validated interventions, or other operational conditions defined by Voltalix. It depends on the user’s operational eligibility and the applicable session or task rules.
How does the Voltalix Rank System work?
Ranks recognize the growth of an active network of Certified SCADA Operators. Each rank contains smaller milestones with cash rewards. Only verified operators who meet the platform activity requirements count toward progress.
How do deposits work?
Open Wallet, choose Deposit, select an available payment method, and follow the instructions shown. Your balance is updated after the payment is confirmed.
How do withdrawals work?
Add and verify a withdrawal method, enter the amount, and confirm the request using two-factor authentication. The Wallet shows the request status until processing is complete.
Why are identity verification and two-factor authentication required?
Identity verification and two-factor authentication help protect accounts, prevent unauthorized activity, and secure contract and wallet operations.
